The UV-C wavelength (200-300 nm) of the UV spectrum targets the DNA of microorganisms, denaturing and destroying the DNA through dimerization, making the microbial organism inert and unable to reproduce. The ESE fixture is made of stainless steel, with very high output electronic power supply, cable and enhanced bulb connectors. Unit carries labels for compliance with ANSI/UL Standards 153, 1598, 1995 and CSA and CE Standards. The manufacturer is ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) compliant.
