BS-200 BC-400
Description

  • A granular aluminosilicate impregnated with evenly distributed potassium permanganate.

  • 4 × 6 purple granules.

How it Works

  • The impregnated aluminosilicate collects odor molecules through adsorption and absorption. When the odor molecules contact the potassium permaganate they are chemically oxidized into an odorless non-corrosive product. The large surface area and pore volume allow for continuous effectiveness.

  • A virgin activated carbon media which uses a high quality coconut shell raw material.

  • 4 × 8 mesh

  • It is manufactured from a high quality coconut shell substrate. It has a low pressure drop and high adsorptive capacity.

How it Works

  • Physical adsorption removes the gas molecules which is a form of condensation. Activated carbon is used for a wide range of contaminants with an affinity to higher molecular weight gases.

BS-245/Blend BC-700
Description

  • A blend of BS-200 aluminosilicate impregnated with potassium permaganate and BC-400 coconut shell activated carbon. The standard blend for BS-240 is 50% BS-200 and 50% BC-400. This 50/50 blend is BS-245. The 5 stands for the 50% BS-200. Custom blends are available for specific applications.

How it Works

  • BS-240 provides enhanced performance in controlling compounds usually controlled by BS-200 and BC-400. The combined benefits of both media may be realized in one bed.

How it Works

BS-300 BC-900
Description

  • A virgin activated carbon media which uses extruded coal based material.

  • 1/8" diameter cylinders.

  • Manufactured from unique bituminous coal substrate with low pressure drop and high adsorbtive capacity.

How it Works

  • Physical adsorption removes the gas molecules which is a form of condensation. Activated carbon is used for a wide range of contaminants with an affinity to higher molecular weight gases.

Description

  • A pelletized activated carbon impregnated with potassium hydroxide.

  • 1/8" diameter cylinders.
  • It is manufactured from a unique bituminous coal substrate. It has a low pressure drop and high adsorptive capacity.

How it Works

  • When the potassium hydroxide is impregnated into the carbon it provides enhanced efficiency and capacity for removing gases from air streams. After adsorptin a chemical reaction follows to neutralize the contaminants.

Packaging Safety Precautions
Gas filtration media is packaged in 1 cu. ft. (28.3L) corrugated baxes.

  • Custom packaging on request

  • Do not heat or rub in contact with easily oxidizable matter.

  • Store and keep away from heat and flammable materials.

  • Sweep up unused material in refuse container.

  • Dispose of media in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.

  • Wet activated carbon readily adsorbs atmospheric oxygen.

  • Workers should follow federal, state and local safety guidelines for entering oxygen depleted spaces.

  • Handle media in a well ventilated area.
